i mean, it’s literally superior in every way; the writing, the acting, the actors, the chemistry, the special effects, the lighting, the cinematography, EVERYTHING is better than that of smallville. this makes me….fucking proud, actually. smallville probably had a MUCH bigger budget at it’s disposal considering it was about young superman, whereas SPN was just supposed to be another attempt at a paranormal drama, thrown in at the friday death time slot. i am so fucking proud of everyone at supernatural right now.

i wonder if jensen ever thinks back to his failed audition to play clark kent on smallville and think, “thank god i got passed over for that one.” think about it: if he had been clark, he would never have been dean, which means he would never have met jared, or misha, or any of the other members of his fabulously large and hilarious family. what would spn be like without jensen ackles?

I mean, after all that, after “the note of forgiveness” and Cas giving up pacifism to clean up his shit and help Dean, he would not just LEAVEDean! I firmly believe he left to try and either find a way out on the off-chance that a door was left open somewhere, somehow, or he left to find a safe-ish place to take Dean. I bet that will be one of the first things they show in the new season. Writers:
